Does anyone have a PDF copy of MS35043? I am reverse engineering a print and I need to show "line of progression" for technology so that I don't have to go through MIL recertification. My client owns the design and has ECO authority but I need to prove the present status.
For example: I know from previous projects that the Govt got away from Carbon Comp some time ago for new designs (so did the whole industry for that matter). A lot of the legacy electronics on life-extended aircraft date back to the 1960's and the prints call out this MS. I also repair legacy equipment when it is not economically feasible to build new.
I also know the preferred type now is RLR and RNR. But I have to take the MS35043-XX part number, show what the specs WERE, and then show what they now ARE using today's replacements. This may seem trivial to some but the application is timing circuits (multivibrators, amplifiers, etc) and therefore the tolerance, variability, and other parameters must be isolated and compared.
Many thanks to whomever has a copy. I have already looked at ASSIST and they have the cancellation notice but not the spec itself.
