hello, found this on a webpage.
The unit took three 6 volt mercury batteries which could power the unit for up to 20 hours. Two batteries powered the motor drive, and the other powered the transistor electronics. Today, those battery sizes are no longer made, so if you come across one, you will have to wire in an appropriate DC power source.

I have 2 dictet recorders, they appear to be in great shape, been in heavy leather cases since new, one had no batteries in it, the other had 2 but they are in poor shape, I have no idea what is on the tapes but I would like to know, if anyone knows what I need to do to power these up, please let me know.
